In India, Samsung may surprise customers by releasing the S22 series with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. For years, the company has been releasing flagship models in India with an Exynos processor.
Both the Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoCs have a 1+3+4 architecture and are manufactured at 4nm. However, over time, the Exynos variant has lagged behind its Snapdragon counterpart in terms of performance and efficiency.
Samsung has not released any information about the Snapdragon variant that will be available in India. As a result, it's best to hold off on the official unveiling of the devices for a few days.
