Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Realme 10 Pro+ Are Rumored to Have Curved AMOLED Displays

The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ might have a curved AMOLED display, according to a recent leak of an image that purports to show the silhouettes of five different smartphones. Recently, Xiaomi suggested that the Redmi Note 12 series would debut in October. According to our knowledge, this should be the first Redmi Note series phone from Xiaomi to have a premium display design, which was previously saved for its Mi series of phones. The fact that this new image coexists with previously leaked images from a TENAA listing suggests that one of the phones in the series, most likely the Note 12 Pro+ model, may have a curved display.

This up-to-date information came from a tweet by @maheshahir85. In addition to the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, the Realme 10 Pro+ is expected to have a curved AMOLED display, according to the tweet. A leaked image from last week showed the back of a Realme 10 series phone. Now, a TENAA listing has also exposed the front and back of what appears to be the 10 Pro+. Rumors suggest that the Realme 10 Pro+ will run MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 SoC and have a 120Hz display.

Only this brand-new teaser image, which shows the new phones in silhouette, provides us with a wealth of details about the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. Here, two phones’ sides are visible, and they appear to have curved edges. Prior leaks indicate that the 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC will drive the Redmi Note 12 series. When combined with an ARM Mali-G68 GPU, the recently released chipset supports the main camera sensor with up to 200 megapixels. There are two ARM Cortex-A78 CPU cores with a combined maximum frequency of 2.6GHz. According to reports, all three of the series models are mobile phones with 5G capability.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Redmi Note 12 Pro were recently made public by the TENAA database. The handsets would have 6.6-inch full-HD+ AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate, per the listing. The Redmi Note 12 Pro is rumored to have a 4,980mAh battery, while the Note 12 Pro+ is expected to have a 4,300mAh battery.
