Google Pixel Watch With 1.6-Inch AMOLED Display, Wear OS Launched

On Thursday at the “Made By Google” event, the Google Pixel Watch made its debut alongside the Pixel 7 series smartphones. It is the first smartwatch that the company has ever released and has a circular dial without a bezel. The 1.6-inch AMOLED display on the Pixel Watch has a brightness of up to 1,000 nits and an Always-on mode. This smartwatch is powered by an Exynos 9110 SoC, a Cortex M33 coprocessor, and 2GB of RAM. Wireless connectivity options include 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth v5.0.

Price and availability of the Google Pixel Watch

Price ranges for the Google PixelWatch range from $349.99 (roughly Rs. 28,700) for the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi-only model to $399.99 (about Rs (roughly Rs. 32,800).

The Wi-Fi-only model comes in the color options of Obsidian, Hazel, and Chalk, while the cellular model comes in the color options of Obsidian, Hazel, and Charcoal.

Features and specifications of the Google Pixel Watch

The Google Pixel Watch smartwatch’s 1.6-inch AMOLED touch display has a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. The screen has a 320ppi pixel density and an Always-on mode. The Pixel Watch’s display is protected by 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has a rounded, domed shape.

Exynos 9110 SoC, Cortex M33 coprocessor and 2GB of RAM make up its internal hardware. Google claims that the Pixel Watch has a battery life of up to 24 hours. It makes use of Wear OS 3.5, which also includes Fitbit’s health and fitness tools and Google Assistant. This smartwatch also includes a heart rate sensor and an ECG tracker.

The Pixel Watch offers a wide range of connectivity options, including Bluetooth v5.0, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, and NFC. This smartwatch is also compatible with the Find My Device app. According to reports, the 5ATM water-resistant construction can withstand water pressure up to 50 meters.
