Realme has announced that a new low-cost 5G smartphone will be launched in India. The Realme 9i 5G will be unveiled later this month by the company. In India, the Realme 9i 5G will make its debut on August 18. The phone is the second in the 9i series of smartphones after the Realme 9i, which was unveiled in India earlier this year.
Before the official launch of the upcoming low-cost 5G smartphone in India, Realme has officially confirmed a few key details. There will be a 9i 5G with the “laser light” design. Realme has additionally verified the technical details of the upcoming smartphone.
Launch of Realme 9i 5G in India
The Realme 9i 5G is yet another cost-effective 5G smartphone from the manufacturer. The phone’s MediaTek processor is well known. The first Realme product will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. The 6nm chipset scored over 3,50,000 on AnTuTu, according to Realme. The design of the phone was also revealed on the official event page.

The 9i 5G will be dark gold. More color options will be available for the phone, according to Realme. The phone’s three cutouts protrude from the top of the back panel rather than a camera island on the back. Realme neglected to mention the phone’s camera specifications on the event microsite. The phone is expected to have a 48MP or 50MP main camera sensor.
A teaser on the microsite provides additional proof that the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. There is no doubt that the 9i 5G will have an LCD display. Like other Realme smartphones in the same price range, the gadget likely comes with a 5000 mAh battery as well.
More details regarding the phone will be made available to the public soon. The company will hold a virtual launch event for 9i 5G India on August 18 at 11.30 a.m. The device should not cost more than Rs 15,000 in India.
