The Moto X30 Pro and Motorola Razr 2022 were originally scheduled to launch on August 2. But right before the launch, the event was canceled. According to the most recent update from the Lenovo-owned company, the Moto Razr 2022 will be unveiled on August 11 in China along with the Moto X30 Pro and Moto S30 Pro smartphones. On a unique microsite on the company’s online store, the Motorola Razr 2022’s specifications are being teased before its official release. It has been confirmed that the display has a refresh rate of 144 hertz.
Chen Jin, General Manager of Lenovo Mobile Business Group, confirmed the launch dates for the Motorola Razr 2022, Moto X30 Pro, and Moto S30 Pro on Weibo. On August 11 at 8 p.m. (local time) in China, Lenovo scheduled the launch of the phones on its online store (5:30 pm IST).
The Motorola Razr 2022 is rumored to have a 6.7-inch OLED inner display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and DC dimming. The foldable phone will also have a 2.7-inch display on the outside. As previously confirmed, the smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The phone will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Two rear cameras are expected for the Motorola Razr 2022, with the 50-megapixel main camera featuring optical image stabilization (OIS). The rear camera will also have a 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor. For selfies, it will have a front-facing camera sensor with 32 megapixels. Additionally, the phone will have Dolby Atmos, compatible speakers.
