There are no design surprises in the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 smartwatch series, which will be formally unveiled very soon.
According to some sources, the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro smartwatch models from Samsung will make their debut on August 10 and go on sale on August 26. 91Mobiles gave us a sneak peek of these models’ designs. It should come as no surprise that the round designs of the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, which are available in a variety of colors, do not completely revolutionize the field in terms of appearance, but they do look modern overall. According to the information given over the design, the screens are made of sapphire glass or gorilla glass DX, depending on the version. There are also LTE connectivity-compatible models of smartwatches.
By using a high bezel as opposed to the flat frame used in the Galaxy Watch 5 model, Samsung better protects the screen of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro model from impacts and scratches. Smartwatches don’t have a frame that can be physically rotated, as was already mentioned.
What kind of price will these watches bring in? According to dependable leaker Roland Quandt, a 40mm Bluetooth Galaxy Watch 5 model will cost approximately 300 euros and 350 euros respectively in Europe. There will be four color options for this version.

Additionally, a 44mm Bluetooth version of the Galaxy Watch 5 will be available for about 350 euros. The 44 mm LTE version will run you about 400 euros. This model will be available in three different colors. On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro only has a 45 mm case and is priced at about 490 euros for the Bluetooth version and about 540 euros for the LTE version. Two colors will be offered for this model.

More information about the models is available. The watches will accommodate 10W charging, per the official FCC records. Samsung, which is rumored to have created a special charger for this, can drastically reduce charging times with an increase from 5W to 10W on the clock side. This may appeal to users greatly. Quick charging times can be achieved with long usage periods thanks to 10W.
The 40mm and 44mm Galaxy Watch 5 models reportedly have larger batteries than the Galaxy Watch 4 series models. The 40mm version has a 276mAh battery as opposed to the 247mAh battery. The 44mm model, on the other hand, has a 397 mAh battery as opposed to a 361 mAh one. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will reportedly have a single 45 mm model and a 572 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will be made of titanium and sapphire glass, per an earlier declaration by Ice Universe. In other words, thanks to its sturdy body, the smartwatch model will be extremely scratch-resistant and unaffected by impacts. Screen scratch protection is one of the physical bezel’s typical advantages. The sapphire glass won’t be significantly scratched by many bumps, but this new model won’t experience it.
