The most recent model in the Realme GT 2 series was unveiled in China today: the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition. The GT 2 Master Explorer Edition came first in the Realme GT series before the Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro, both of which are sold in India. This year’s Realme GT Master Explorer Edition has been replaced by the recently released device.
This time, unlike the previous generation device, the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is expected to debut in India. Realme refers to the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition’s distinctive design as a “Hard case legendary design,” and it is the first phone in the world to feature LPDDR5X RAM. The phone has metal rivets, a metal middle frame, a glass design, and bumper-like corner protection.
Price and Availability of the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition
Starting at CNY 3499 (approximately Rs 41,400) for the 8GB+128GB model and rising to CNY 3799 (approximately Rs 45,000) for the 8GB+256GB model, the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition reaches its highest price point at CNY 3999 for the 12GB+256GB model (approx. Rs 47,300). Pre-orders for the device are being taken in China right now, and it will go on sale the following week. Black, White, and Gold are the available colors.

Specifications and Features of the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition
The GT 2 Master Explorer Edition’s 6.7-inch AMOLED screen has a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. Also supported is HDR10+. The phone also has a chip for its independent X7 display. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip serves as the system’s internal processor. In addition to offering up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, the phone is the first in the world to feature up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
Three cameras are located on the back of the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition: a 40x microscope lens, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP primary sensor (IMX766) with optical image stabilization. Its front-facing selfie camera is 16 MP. The GT 2 Master Explorer Edition’s 5,000mAh battery also supports 100W fast charging. This is also the first Realme phone to feature a GaN charger. Gallium nitride, also known as GaN, is a substance that has an 85% heat-reduction capacity. The new GaN charger allows for a 25-minute charge time for the device.
Additionally, the phone has a built-in optical fingerprint scanner, dual VC flagship cooling, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, 4G LTE, 5G, NFC, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, a USB Type-C port, Android 12 OS, weighs 195 grams, and is 8.17mm thick.
