Oppo is reportedly working on several products that it intends to release later this year. One of them, according to rumors, will be a new Oppo Find X5 series phone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. A limited-edition Find X5 Pro could be this item. Oppo’s first clamshell foldable smartphone is anticipated to debut alongside the Find N2. For the launch of these and other new products later this year, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer may hold a sizable launch event.
According to tipper Digital Chat Station, Oppo could release the Find X5 Pro with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC in August. This device might be a limited-edition model, similar to the Oppo Find X3 Pro Photographer Edition, which debuted in September 2021. The tipper provided no additional details regarding this handset.

In the meantime, more Oppo products might be released soon. For its first clamshell foldable smartphone, the company is reportedly working on “Dragonfly,” a codename. The Oppo Find N2, code-named “White Swan,” the follow-up to the Oppo Find N, may also be in development and could be unveiled this year. Both foldable smartphones may use Snapdragon or Dimensiy SoC chipsets, according to a recent report, depending on the market. Additionally, they might have displays that refresh at a rate of 120Hz.
The ColorOS 13 and the Oppo Watch 3 and Band 2 is also rumored to debut in 2022, the tip adds. The two wearables were recently expected to launch in India soon as well. Oppo is planning to jointly launch some of these products at a sizable launch event later this year. It’s important to note that the company has not yet confirmed whether any of these products exist.
