The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will reportedly have 6GB of more modern, faster RAM. The models are said to have LPDDR5 RAM, while the current series has 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max, on the other hand, reportedly have 6GB of the older LPDDR4X RAM. The new RAM in the Pro models is said to use less energy. According to a recent report, the tech giant is reportedly also growing the list of component suppliers.
According to a MacRumors report citing DigiTimes, the upcoming Apple iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will have 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
LPDDR5 RAM is faster and uses less energy than earlier standards. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max reportedly have 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The iPhone 13 series has the same RAM but 4GB of memory.

To address supply chain issues, the tech giant reportedly increased the number of component suppliers for the iPhone 14 models. The report states that SG Micro is on track to start shipping its power management integrated circuitry in the second half of 2022 after passing the quality testing for the pricier iPhone 14 models.
