One of this year’s biggest releases, God of War Ragnarok, will make its debut on November 9th, 2022, according to PlayStation Studios. With this news came the release of a brand-new CGI cinematic trailer showing Kratos and Atreus slaying a horde of enemies.
Even though the CGI trailer does not accurately represent gameplay, the announcement of the release date must be a welcome sight for gamers who are eagerly anticipating the game given the rumors of delays. In the upcoming game, it has been confirmed that the two will travel to new realms. It will be interesting to see what kinds of novel enemy species will be present in Ragnarok.
The God of War Ragnarok – Collectors Edition, which includes a huge 16-inch replica of Thor’s Hammer Mjolnir, also has a brand-new unboxing video that was published by Santa Monica Studios.
Release Date and Collectors Edition for God of War Ragnarok are Announced
In the Collectors Edition unboxing video, Ryan Hurst, who will portray Thor in God of War Ragnarok, can be seen. The actor is best known for playing Opie Winston on the hit television series Sons of Anarchy. Thor is probably one of the more modern primary antagonists in the game, along with Odin, who will be portrayed by Richard Schiff of “The West Wing” fame.
The game is most likely set sometime after those events, and Atreus has undoubtedly matured since we last saw him in God of War (2018). The most recent trailer displayed new traversal techniques related to the Blades of Chaos.
One of the most eagerly awaited PlayStation Studios releases, the game was first unveiled during the PS5 Reveal Event in 2020. The game, which will wrap up the Norse Saga of the franchise, is a follow-up to God of War from 2018.
