ASUS Zenfone 9 is set to debut on July 28

The launch date for ASUS’ upcoming compact just came out. On July 28, the ASUS Zenfone 9 will be launched globally, according to the company’s official website. The ASUS 8Z-branded Zenfone 8, which was first made available in India earlier this year, will be replaced by the Zenfone 9.

The Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip smartphones were released in July of last year; this time, the Flip model has not received any updates. The Zenfone 8’s promotional video, which includes a 360-degree view of the device and a list of all its specifications, was leaked a few days ago.

Date and time of the ASUS Zenfone 9 launch

The ASUS Zenfone 9 is scheduled to launch on July 28. On YouTube, the event will be streamed live. At 9 p.m. Taipei time, which is 6:30 p.m. in India, the event will start on July 28.

Specifications for the ASUS Zenfone 9

The leaked video claims that the ASUS Zenfone 9 will have a 5.9-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will come in three different storage configurations, including 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 256GB, and feature Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor.

The Zenfone 9 will also feature a substantial dual camera module with gimble stabilization on the back. It has a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, which has recently been seen on the Nothing Phone (1), ASUS ROG Phone 6, Nord 2T, and other devices, it is said. Optic image stabilization is anticipated to be present on the primary lens as well.

In comparison to the 4,000mAh battery on the Zenfone 8/8Z from last year, the Zenfone 9 will have a 4,300mAH battery for the camera. The gadget should support 65W quick charging. The leaked video reveals the headphone jack, making it one of the few, if not the only flagship, to have one. Multiple color options, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, IP68 dust and water resistance, and other features will also be available. Last but not least, the phone is expected to cost between Rs 64,700 and Rs 72,800, or approximately €800 and €900.
