Xiaomi is expected to release the Xiaomi 12 Ultra later this year. Xiaomi’s most expensive smartphone will be the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. It will sit above Xiaomi’s 12, 12 Pro, and 12X, which were all released earlier this year. A Xiaomi 12S is expected to be released in the middle of the previous models. The exact release date for the 12 Ultra is still unknown. Meanwhile, Xiaomi 12 Ultra design renderings have leaked online.
In design renders shared by Zouton in collaboration with OnLeaks, the front and back of the upcoming Xiaomi ultra-premium flagship smartphone are revealed.
Renders of Xiaomi 12 Ultra Design
In June or July 2022, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to be released. Xiaomi’s flagship phone’s design renders have leaked online ahead of its official launch. According to leaked design renders, the 12 Ultra will have a large camera island on the back. A circular camera module with multiple cutouts for camera lenses and other sensors is located on the island. There are four cameras on the 12 Ultra. A Leica logo can also be found on the back, indicating that the flagship’s camera system will be fine-tuned in collaboration with the legendary camera manufacturer.
According to rumors, the 12 Ultra will have a 50MP main camera sensor and a 48MP ultrawide camera. The 50MP main camera could use a Sony IMX989 sensor. It’ll almost certainly have two periscope camera sensors, each with a different focal length.
On the front, there will be a hole-punch cutout in the top center of the 6.6-inch display. The AMOLED panel will be curved and used on the display. It will at the very least support a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, this time there is no secondary display.

A Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will power the 12 Ultra. When it launches, it will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. Out of the box, the phone could have a 5000mAh battery and support for up to 120W fast charging.
According to the design renders, the phone’s power and volume buttons are on the right edge. The top edge has a cutout for the secondary speaker, while the bottom edge has a cutout for the primary speaker, USB Type-C port, and SIM tray.
More information about the Xiaomi flagship should be available online in the coming days. As soon as we have more information, we’ll let you know.
