Xbox consoles are available in two models: Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. The former is for gamers on a budget who want to play the most recent titles, while the latter is for gamers who want to experience true 4K gaming. The Xbox Series S is probably the best bet for gamers looking for a low-cost console out of the two. In India, the console costs Rs. 34,990. The low-cost Xbox Series S console, on the other hand, is expected to see a price increase soon.
In India, the Xbox Series S and peripherals will become more expensive
The price of the Series S will be increased from Rs. 34,990 to Rs. 36,990. This will take effect in the country on June 30.

Not only is the console becoming more expensive, but so are the peripherals. The Xbox Wireless Controller, which was previously priced at Rs. 5,390, will no longer be available for that price. The price of the Headset will also increase from Rs. 8,990 to Rs. 9,490.
There is currently no reason for the price increase, and Xbox has yet to confirm the same. However, because the new price will take effect by the end of the month, we expect Xbox to make an official announcement in the coming days.
While there is no definitive reason for the price increase, some speculate that it is due to the Indian Rupee’s fluctuating exchange rates. The price may have risen as the Rupee has depreciated against the US Dollar. If that’s the case, prices for other gaming consoles and peripherals might rise as well.
There’s no word on whether the prices of the Xbox One S and Sony PlayStation 5 will go up soon. However, if you’ve been thinking about buying a console for a while but haven’t been able to make up your mind, now might be the best time.
