Realme has launched the Realme Q5x, the fourth handset in the Realme Q series, in China. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor. The Realme Q5x also has a waterdrop-style display notch and dual rear cameras. A 5000mAh battery is included.

The Realme Q5x costs 999 Yuan (approximately $149). The handset will be available in China starting Thursday (June 23) in the colours Ink Cloud Black and Star Blue. There is currently no word on whether it will be available outside of China.

The Realme Q5x has a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1600 pixels) LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 400 nits of brightness, and an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio, among other features. It has a thickness of 8.1mm and a width of 8.1mm.
The Realme Q5x is equipped with the Dimensity 700 chipset. 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage are included with the SoC. Additional storage is available via a dedicated microSD card slot on the device.
The camera has two lenses and a dual-LED flash. A 13-megapixel main camera and a 0.3-megapixel depth sensor are included. On the front, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel camera.
The phone runs Realme UI 3.0, which is based on Android 12. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device and supports 10W charging.
The Realme Q5x has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity. A fingerprint sensor is located on the phone’s side.
