Nothing has confirmed that its first-ever Android smartphone, the Nothing Phone (1), will be launched soon. The company has also revealed that it will run on Nothing OS, a custom user interface built on top of Android that will feature a transparent back design similar to its earbuds.
Even though the company has yet to reveal more information about this much-anticipated smartphone, many rumors have already circulated on the internet. The phone’s display has been revealed in the most recent reports.

The Nothing Phone (1) smartphone will have a 6.55-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, according to a tweet from TechDroider. The tweet goes on to say that the phone will have a flat display and no chin. This tweet also includes an alleged front-facing image of the phone, which suggests that Nothing Phone (1) will have a punch-hole cutout for the camera in the center of the top display.

Expected specifications of Nothing Phone (1)
Apart from the display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor is expected to power the smartphone. It may have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the smartphone is expected to come pre-installed with the most recent Android 12 skin.
The smartphone could have a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It is expected to have a 4,5000 mAh or 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities. It’ll almost certainly have NFC and a Type-C charging port.

According to a report on a German website, the smartphone will be released on July 21 and will cost around €500 (roughly Rs 42,000).
