In September of this year, the iPhone 14 series is expected to be released worldwide. According to a new report, the Cupertino-based tech giant will continue to order OLED displays from BOE, Samsung, and LG Display, the same three companies that supplied the iPhone 13 series OLEDs last year.
Samsung will be Apple’s largest OLED supplier this year, according to research firm Omdia (via ITHome). The iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max will all have screens made from this material.
Meanwhile, in 2022, LG will provide OLEDs for Apple’s standard iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and iPhone 14 Pro Max, while BOE will only provide OLEDs for Apple’s standard iPhone 13 and iPhone 14.
price of iPhone 14 series
Due to rising component costs and Apple’s desire to differentiate Pro and non-Pro iPhones, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will cost $1099 and $1199, respectively. Apple is also expected to replace the iPhone 13 mini with the iPhone 13 Max, which will cost $300 more. Also, see Apple’s iPhone’s top three ways to block a contact.
