Later this year, the Google Pixel 7 Pro and Google Pixel 7 are expected to be released. The phone’s existence and first look were announced at Google IO 2022 earlier this month. The display specifications for the Google Pixel 7 series were leaked ahead of time, suggesting that the Pixel 7 duo will not be a significant upgrade over the previous generation.
The Pixel 7 Pro will have three cameras, compared to two on the Pixel 7. Google is reportedly working on a new phone that could be the Pixel lineup’s flagship device, according to a new report.
Suggestions of a Mysterious Google Pixel Smartphone have been discovered
Google is reportedly working on a new Pixel device that will be distinct from the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, according to 9to5Google. In addition to these two devices, the AOSP codes Felix and Lynx, which belong to the same family, have codenames for the two new devices, according to the report. The Pixel 7a is most likely one of them, while the other is unknown.
The mysterious Pixel device is codenamed “G10.” The Pixel 7 is codenamed “Cheetah,” and the Pixel 7 Pro is codenamed “Panther,” with “C10” and “P10” respectively. The codename for the “G10” has yet to be revealed. On the other hand, the device’s display specifications have been revealed.
The G10 will have a 120Hz screen refresh rate, similar to the Pixel 6 Pro and the upcoming Pixel 7 Pro. The display is made by BOE, not Samsung, and has the same specs as the Pixel 6 Pro, including a 1440 x 3120 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 71 x 155mm size. The possibility of it being a large foldable or the Pixel Tablet is unlikely, given the device’s screen size and resolution. Finally, the device will run on Android, which should come as no surprise. The device could also include a Tensor chip.
Google usually releases three devices in a series: a regular model, a Pro model, and an A-series model in most cases. It appears that the company will release a new device this year. If we had to guess, it could be a more powerful version of the Pixel 7 Pro, or Google is already working on a Pixel 8 device. The device’s name, on the other hand, has yet to be determined.
