Google announced several changes to its search engine and proprietary apps at the Google I/O 2022 conference. The much-anticipated Google Pixel 6a was also unveiled, but what caught Pixel fans off guard was the announcement of the upcoming Google Pixel 7 series.
At the event in California, Google teased the upcoming Google Pixel7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The Pixel 7 phones, as expected, have the same design as the leaked renders. Both phones have a dual-tone design and the same form factor as the predecessor. The phones appear to come in Black, White, Grey, and Seafoam colours, according to Google’s images.
According to rumors, the series will be available in Stormy Black, Sorta Seafoam, and Cloudy White.
Google didn’t reveal any major details about the Pixel7 series other than the design. Previous rumors, on the other hand, had revealed some important information.
Expected Specifications for the Google Pixel 7 Pro

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is expected to have a curved display measuring 6.7 or 6.8 inches. It will be a Quad-HD+(1440p) resolution LTPO OLED panel. This screen will support a 120Hz refresh rate and will most likely be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
The Google Pixel 7 Pro is expected to have a second-generation Tenson chipset under the hood. Up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage will be available. Even though the fingerprint scanner on the Pixel 6 is having issues, the Pixel 7 will have one. The device will come pre-installed with Android 13.
The phone is expected to have stereo speakers, improved cameras, and fast charging capabilities. Details on the standard Pixel 7 are still being kept under wraps. However, the Pixel 7 is expected to feature an AMOLED display, dual cameras, and a Tensor chipset.
In terms of availability, Google stated that the Pixel 7 series will be available later this fall. So, we’ll have to wait a few months before we see the Google flagship phones on store shelves. Unfortunately, the Pixel 7 series’ chances of arriving in India are slim.
