Xiaomi recently launched the Xiaomi 12 series in the global market. The company unveiled three premium flagship smartphones in Europe. The Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12X are expected to arrive in India soon. While we await official launch details, some information about the Xiaomi 12 Ultra’s top-end model has surfaced online.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra’s launch in China appears to have been postponed. The launch of the company’s top-tier Android flagship smartphone, which is expected in March, has been kept under wraps. According to a new report from PriceBaba, the launch date of Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone has been revealed.
Timeline for the launch of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra
Soon, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to be released. The flagship Android smartphone will be released in May, according to a new report. Xiaomi will launch the device in China first, followed by other markets.
According to the report, which cited tipster Mukul Sharma, the exact launch date was not specified. On the internet, the 12 Ultra has been making the rounds. The secondary display next to the camera module, according to some reports, will be phased out this year. Xiaomi will instead sell a large camera module with four cameras, an LED flash, and the Leica logo. The camera setup is likely to include the main camera, an ultrawide camera, and two periscope camera sensors.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the phone will have a QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a 4900 mAh battery and support for 120W fast charging. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC, which has yet to be announced, is expected to be included in the 12 Ultra. The upcoming Snapdragon chipset will be a minor upgrade over the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
Other features of the device are unknown. The 12 Ultra is expected to come pre-installed with MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12. It will come with up to 12GB of RAM and at least 256GB of internal storage, among other features. More information should be available online in the coming days.
