Xiaomi 12 Series Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Soc Launched

Xiaomi has released the Xiaomi 12 series globally. Xiaomi’s three newest flagship devices are the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X. Late last year, China saw the release of three flagship smartphones. Xiaomi has released devices that match the Chinese model’s specifications.

The devices have a triple-camera setup on the back. Each of the three models comes with an AMOLED display that supports a high refresh rate. The devices are expected to be released in India soon.

Price of the Xiaomi 12 series

There are three models in the Xiaomi 12 series that were released globally. The Xiaomi 12 is available in storage configurations of 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. The device is priced at $749 as a starting point (roughly Rs 57,200).

There are two storage options for the Xiaomi 12 Pro: 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. The device is priced at $999 as a starting point (roughly Rs 76,300)

The Xiaomi 12X comes in two storage configurations: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The cost is EUR $649. (roughly Rs 49,600).

Features and specifications

The 12 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display as standard. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1500 nits. Three cameras are located on the phone’s back. A 50MP Sony IMX 707 main lens with OIS, as well as a 50MP ultrawide and 50MP telephoto camera, are included. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front camera.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC powers the 12 Pro. It has a 4,600 mAh battery and can charge at 120 watts via wired fast charging, 50 watts via wireless charging, and 10 watts via reverse wireless charging.

The vanilla 12 features a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. It features a centrally aligned hole punch cutout and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and has a 4500 mAh battery. It has a 67W fast charging power, 50W wireless charging power, and 10W reverse wireless charging power.

On the back, there’s a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main camera. The phone comes with a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 5MP tele-macro camera. MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12, comes pre-installed on both devices.

The Xiaomi 12X is powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor. It has a 4500 mAh battery and 67W wired fast charging capability. The rest of the specs are the same as the standard 12 model.
