Samsung Galaxy M33 5G, Galaxy M23 5G officially announced

Samsung has recently added two new budget smartphones to its Galaxy A-series lineup, as well as expanding its Galaxy M lineup. Samsung has announced the Galaxy M33 5G and Galaxy M23 5G, both of which feature a 50-megapixel camera and LCD displays.

Samsung did not provide pricing or availability information for its new Galaxy M series smartphones. The two smartphones, however, are listed on the official Mobile Press website, complete with a specification sheet. The Galaxy M33 5G is expected to be a mid-range device, while the Galaxy M23 will be a low-cost option, according to reports.

The Samsung Galaxy M33 has a 6.6-inch FHD+ dew-drop LCD display with a resolution of 2,408×1080 pixels. The phone is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor. According to previous reports, the smartphone will be powered by an Exynos 1200 processor. The processor comes with either 6GB/128GB or 8GB/128GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card. One UI 4.1, which is based on Android 12, comes pre-installed on the Galaxy M33 5G.

The phone’s photography setup includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.2 aperture. The device comes in three colours: green, blue, and brown and has a 6,000mAh battery.

The Galaxy M23 5G has the same display as the Galaxy M33 5G. It is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. The chipset has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. The phone starts up with Android 12 on top of a custom OS skin.

The square camera module has a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture on the front. In the dewdrop notch, there’s an 8-megapixel camera. A 5,000mAh battery powers the phone. It’s available in two colours: deep green and light blue.
