Samsung Galaxy A13, Galaxy A23 officially announced

Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones with too much fanfare at its Galaxy Unpacked event. The company has quietly added two new smartphones to its lineup just days later. In a press release issued today, Samsung announced the Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23 smartphones.

The Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23 are the successors of the Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A22 smartphones that were released last year, and they join the company’s budget-friendly Galaxy A-series smartphones.

Samsung has yet to reveal the price and availability of these newly launched smartphones, as well as the markets in which they will be available. There’s also no word on how much it will cost.

Specifications for the Samsung Galaxy A13

The Samsung Galaxy A13 has a 6.6-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080×2408 pixels and a 60Hz screen refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 provides additional protection. The octa-core Exynos 850 chipset is paired with 3GB, 4GB, or 6GB of RAM and 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB of storage space in the newly released smartphone. It runs on OneUI 4.1, which is based on Android 12.

The Galaxy A13 has an 8MP front-facing camera and a quad-rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor on the back. The Galaxy A13 comes in four colour options: blue, peach, white, and black.
