Redmi Note 11S 5G Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 Launched

Xiaomi announced the global launch of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G on March 29. The phone was a rebranded Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge that was released in India earlier this year. In addition to the Pro+ 5G, Xiaomi unveiled a new Note 11S 5G at the event. The Redmi Note 11S 5G is another rebranded smartphone. It’s essentially the Poco M4 Pro 5G, which was released earlier this month in India and other markets.

The Redmi 5G variant is built on top of the 4G model and will be available in India soon.

Price of the Redmi Note 11S 5G

Xiaomi has released the Redmi Note 11S 5G all over the world. The device comes with three storage options: 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 6GB+128GB. The cheapest model has 4GB of RAM and costs $249. (roughly ). $279 for a model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (roughly Rs ). Finally, the higher storage option comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage for $299. (roughly Rs ). The three colours available are Midnight Black, Twilight Blue, and Star Blue.

Specifications and Features of the Redmi Note 11S 5G

The Note 11S 5G has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. In the top centre, a hole-punch cutout houses the front camera. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. There are options for up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. To increase the storage capacity, a microSD card can be used. The battery capacity of the phone is 5000 mAh. The retail box includes a charger that supports 33W Pro fast charging.

On the back of the Note 11S 5G, there are three cameras. It has a main camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels, an ultrawide camera with an aperture of 8 megapixels, and a tele-macro camera with a resolution of 2 megapixels. For selfies and video calls, a 13MP front camera sensor is available. On the side, there’s a fingerprint scanner as well as AI Face Unlock support. The phone features a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as dual speakers. MIUI 13, which is based on Android 11, comes pre-installed.
