Oppo K Series Smartphone Will Launch on March 16

In India, Oppo intends to reintroduce the K series. A teaser for the upcoming phone has gone live on the company’s social media accounts. A microsite for Oppo’s upcoming smartphone has gone live on Flipkart, confirming that it will be sold in India via the Flipkart e-commerce platform.

Oppo has been releasing K series devices in China for quite some time. The Oppo K9x, K9s, K9 Pro 5G, K7x, and other devices are included. The majority of these devices are priced under Rs 20,000, so we can expect Oppo to launch the K series in India at a similar price point.

The Oppo K Series will be unveiled in India on March 16th

The 12-second teaser video posted on Oppo’s social media accounts does not confirm any device specifications, design, or model number. “Get ready to live without limits on March 16,” it concludes, implying that the phone will be available in the country on that date. However, this could be a date for an announcement.

According to Oppo, the K series is an online-focused series with aggressive pricing potential. The Vivo T1 5G, Vivo’s new online-focused mid-budget series phone, was recently launched in India as well. While Oppo hasn’t confirmed any specifications or model name for the device, we can assume it’s the Oppo K10.

Oppo has been working on the Oppo K10, which was recently discovered on the 3C certification website with the model number PGIM10. According to the listing, it will support 80W fast charging. The Mediatek Dimensity 8000 SoC, which was just announced, will power it.

It will be interesting to see what Oppo has in store for its Indian audience with the return of the K series. The Oppo K1 and K3 were first released in India a few years ago, and the company is now preparing to reintroduce the series. More information about the device should be available on March 16th.
