OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Renders Reveals Triple Rear Camera Setup, Boxy Design

OnePlus is expected to release a new mid-range smartphone soon. The company’s new mid-range offering, the Nord CE 2 5G, was recently launched in India. A Lite version of this device is rumored to be on the way. OnePlus has not yet announced a launch date for the Nord CE 2 Lite. While we wait for that, new phone information has surfaced on the internet.

A new report from 91Mobiles has revealed the design of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. The back panel and sides of the device are revealed in the report.

Design of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will be available in India and other markets soon. The smartphone will sit alongside the Nord CE 2 5G, which was just released in India. The device’s back panel design is revealed in advance of its launch in a 91Mobiles report. The phone will have a glossy plastic back panel with curved sides, according to the report. The frame of the device is completely flat. The OnePlus One’s frame could be made of plastic.

On the device, a rectangular camera module houses two large cutouts and a smaller third one. An LED flash is also included in the module. On the right side of the device is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the left edge, you’ll find the volume keys and the SIM tray. Instead of a dedicated micro-SD card slot, the Nord CE 2 Lite will have a hybrid SIM tray, according to the report. On the bottom edge, there will be a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The primary speaker grille is, of course, located at the device’s bottom edge.

The device’s front isn’t shown in the report. However, a hole-punch cutout in the top left corner of the screen is expected to be included. Oxygen OS 12, which is based on Android 12, will come pre-installed on the phone. It will be the first smartphone in the Nord series to come with Android 12 pre-installed.

The phone is expected to have a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display, according to rumors. A Snapdragon 695 SoC is likely to be used for 5G network support. The phone will have a 64-megapixel main camera as well as two 2-megapixel depth and macro sensors. For selfies, a 16MP front camera will be available. The phone is expected to have a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. A refresh rate of 90hz is likely to be supported.
