Nothing Phone (1) Concept Design Has Been Leaked

Nothing on March 23, the company announced that it is developing its first smartphone. The Nothing Phone (1) will be released in the summer of 2022. The company did not specify a specific launch date or month, but it did confirm a few key details. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, for starters. Qualcomm has invested in Nothing, implying that the Nothing Phone will be powered by a Snapdragon processor. At the event, the Android-based Nothing OS was also confirmed.

Nothing’s founder, Carl Pei, also teased the upcoming smartphone’s design. Based on the teaser, a new concept render of the Nothing Phone (1) has surfaced online. The render gives us a good idea of what the phone might look like based on the teaser image.

In the coming months, Nothing Phone (1) will be released in India and other markets. Before the launch, a concept render of the phone has surfaced online. The concept shows how the first Nothing smartphone will look when it is released later this year.

The phone has a dual-camera setup on the back, according to a concept render shared on Twitter by Ben Geskin. This camera module appears to be very similar to the one found in the iPhone X, which has a dual-camera setup and an LED flash. In the center of the back panel, the wireless charging coil is outlined. The phone, according to Max Jambor, will have MagSafe-like charging capabilities.

It’s been speculated that, like Nothing’s Ear (1), the Phone (1) will have a semi-transparent design language. On the right edge, you’ll find the power and volume buttons. A hole-punch display will be used on the phone. The phone will have a hole-punch cutout in the center, according to Geskin.

Nothing has confirmed that the phone will come with Nothing OS pre-installed. It will be Android-based and feature all of the platform’s best features. Pei also stated that the OS will offer a fast, consistent, and seamless user experience. In addition, the phone has been confirmed to have three years of software support and four years of security updates. The Nothing launcher will be available on a limited number of Android smartphones starting in April 2022.
