The iPhone 14 series, Apple’s next generation of iPhones, will be released in September of this year. An industry insider has provided MySmartPrice with exclusive CAD renders of the vanilla iPhone 14 model months ahead of the launch event. Thanks to these RAW CAD renders, we now have the most accurate look yet at what the iPhone14 will look like when it launches later this year.
To begin with, the iPhone 14 is unlikely to feature any significant design changes on the front. The thick display notch on top of the vanilla model is still present. The iPhone 14 Max, which is expected to replace Apple’s “mini” model in 2022 and have a 6.7-inch display, is expected to have a similar design.
91mobiles recently posted iPhone 14 Pro CAD renders, and we now know that Apple will ditch the display notch in favor of an all-screen front panel with gaps for the Face ID sensors and the selfie camera on the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. This is consistent with what the iPhone 14 series has been leaking for the past few months.

The iPhone 14 CAD renders are by far the clearest look at the upcoming iPhone, which is set to debut alongside the iPhone14 Pro in September 2022.
What to Expect From the iPhone 14 Design
As previously stated, the iPhone 14 will have the same front-facing design as the iPhone 13. According to the CAD renders, the iPhone 14’s back panel will have a rear camera placement similar to that of the iPhone 13. The camera housing, on the other hand, appears to have undergone a minor makeover, with a thicker glass frame surrounding it. Like the iPhone 13, the dual rear cameras are placed next to each other, along with an LED flash module. While the CAD renders we received do not depict the Apple logo on the back, the phone may be released without the iconic logo in the middle of the back panel.
Like the iPhone 13, the volume rocker is on the left edge of the iPhone14, with the alert slider above it and the SIM card slot below the volume keys. The only thing on it is the power button, which is in the middle of the right panel. In other CAD renders, regular bands can be seen running across the handset, and the charging port can be seen on the bottom panel. The iPhone 14 is expected to ship with the Lightning connector, indicating that Type-C charging will not be available for at least a year.

Only the Pro models will be redesigned this year, while the iPhone14 and the rumored iPhone 14 Max will retain Apple’s tried-and-true design. We’re used to this strategy, as the latest iPhone SE keeps the iPhone 8-like design that debuted in 2017.
According to the industry insider, the iPhone 14 will have the same 6.1-inch display as the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12. Based on CAD renders showing Apple opting for an iPhone 13-like design on the iPhone14 and a design refresh for the iPhone14 Pro later this year, we can expect Apple to use last year’s A15 Bionic chipset on the iPhone 14, while the Pro will get the latest A16 Bionic chipset later this year.
