Google is expected to release new Pixel smartphones later this year. Google announced the Pixel 6 series in October, which included two new flagship smartphones. The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will be replaced in the second half of 2022 by their respective successors. The Pixel 7 series is expected to debut in October 2022. The launch took place earlier than usual, according to a new leak.
According to Ross Young of the DSCC, mass production of the Pixel 7 series could begin in May 2022, when the display panels are expected to be shipped. It implies that the launch may occur sooner than anticipated. The analyst has also revealed the display sizes of both models.
Details about the Google Pixel 7 Series display have been leaked
According to the most recent leak, mass production of the Google Pixel 7 series will begin a month earlier than usual. According to Young, both Pixel smartphones will be mass-produced in May. The exact date of release is still unknown. If Google is a month ahead of schedule, the launch event could take place in September, competing with Apple’s upcoming iPhones.
Young also claims that the display size of the next-generation Pixel will be different. The Pixel 7 will be slightly smaller than the Pixel 6, which had a screen size of 6.43 inches. According to Young, the phone will have a 6.3-inch display. The 6.7-inch display on the 7 Pro, on the other hand, will be the same as on the 7 Plus.
Other information about the Pixel phones has previously been leaked. Leaked renders so far suggest that the design will be similar to the Pixel 6 series. The 7 Pro will have a thick camera strip running horizontally across the top portion of the dual-tone rear panel for the triple-camera setup, whereas the vanilla model will only have two camera sensors. There is, however, one minor distinction. For a seamless appearance, the camera module appears to blend into the frame. Both devices will feature AMOLED displays with a fast refresh rate.
