In the world of console and PC gaming, Call of Duty Warzone is a popular title. Activision, the game’s creators, have revealed that a mobile version of the game is in the works. The news was announced on Activision’s official Twitter account.
The Activision tweet was more of a recruitment pitch for the new game’s talent. “We are building Call of Duty Warzone for mobile!” they wrote in the tweet. Apply now for a variety of exciting positions in the development and publishing teams!”
Activision has announced that the new Call of Duty Warzone game will feature the “AAA mobile experience.” Another hint that puts it in direct competition with PUBG New State, BGMI, and even its own Call of Duty Mobile is that it will feature a Battle Royale mode.
Activision is working on a “large-scale, battle royale experience” that will be built natively for the mobile platform, according to a statement. Because it will be exclusive to the mobile platform, there will be no support for cross-platform gameplay.
“We are seeking skilled operators in all aspects of game development,” Activision said in a statement. This massive battle royale experience is being built natively for mobile with cutting-edge technology to entertain gamers all over the world for many years.”
What makes it unique from Call of Duty Mobile?
It’s too early to say anything about the in-game experience. The new game, on the other hand, should be very different from CDM. The current game was created by the Chinese developer TiMI Studio Group, a Tencent subsidiary. The new Call of Duty Warzone will be developed by an Activision studio. Solid State Studios, Beenox, Digital Legends, and Demonware are among the internal studios that are currently hiring, according to the statement.
