On Twitter a few days ago, Asus surprised everyone by teasing the launch of a new Asus OLED laptop in India on March 3rd. While everyone expected Asus to reveal a new OLED TV, it turns out the company had been teasing the release of a new detachable Windows laptop with an OLED screen all along. This is the Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED, the company’s newest 2-in-1. With this new launch, the brand hopes that users will use the new Slate OLED as their OLED TV.
Price and Availability for the Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED
The Vivobook 13 Slate OLED comes in three different flavours: 4GB+128GB for Rs 45,990, 4GB+128GB with sleeve, stand, stylus, and stylus holder for Rs 57,990, and 8GB+256GB with all accessories for Rs 62,990. The device will be available for purchase on Amazon, Flipkart, and in physical stores. Only Asus, Reliance Digital, Croma, and Vijay Sales will be able to get the 4GB+128GB mid variant with all four accessories. For this product, only the Black colour option is available.

Specifications and features of the Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED
To begin, the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED features a 13.3-inch OLED display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, 1920 x 1080 resolution, up to 550 nits of peak brightness, Dolby Vision support, TÜV Rheinland certification, and Pantone validation for colour accuracy. It is also the world’s first 13.3-inch OLED Windows detachable laptop. The slate also comes with a new ASUS Pen 2.0 Stylus (4096 pressure levels, 266 Hz sampling rate), a magnetically detachable full-size keyboard, and a detachable hinge that folds nearly flat at 170-degrees.
For charging, the Asus Pen 2.0 has a hidden USB-C port. You can charge to 100% in just 30 minutes, giving you over 140 hours of use. The Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED will also come with a thin and detachable keyboard that attaches magnetically and provides the best typing experience. There’s a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera onboard. A fingerprint scanner is also included (not on the base model).

The Vivobook 13 Slate OLED also includes quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The device is powered by a 50-watt-hour battery that can last up to 9 hours on a single charge. The device is powered by an Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor, Intel UHD Graphics, and up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, with storage options of 128GB eMMc or 256GB SSD. The operating system on the computer is Windows 11.
Bluetooth 5.2 + Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) (Dual-band) Additional features include 2*2, 65W charger, 0.78 kg weight, 7.9 mm thickness, Corning Gorilla Glass, and MS Office Home and Student 2021. There are also two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports with external display and power delivery support, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a micro SD card reader.
