Later this year, the Apple iPhone 14 series is expected to be released. If everything goes according to plan, four new iPhone models will be released in September 2022. Apple’s top-tier flagship smartphones, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, are expected to be unveiled at the event. Along with the iPhone 14 Max, a regular iPhone 14 will be released alongside it. This year, Apple’s mini lineup is expected to be phased out.
Ahead of the launch, some key details about the upcoming iPhones have leaked online. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed the display and performance unit details of the new iPhones that will be released later this year.
Specifications for the Apple iPhone 14 Series

According to reports, Apple will release four new iPhone 14 series models later this year. Two of the four models will feature the Apple A15 Bionic chip. According to analyst Kuo, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will use the same chipset as the iPhone 13 series. The two iPhones in 2022 will use Apple’s A15 chip, which is currently the most powerful processor on any smartphone.
The Apple A16 Bionic chipset, on the other hand, will be upgraded in the Pro models. Although the processor’s specifications are unknown, we can expect performance and efficiency improvements.
According to the analyst, the regular models will have 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, while the Pro models will have 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
Kuo reiterated the display sizes of the four models. The standard iPhone 14 and 14 Pro have a 6.1-inch display, while the 14 Max and 14 Pro Max have a larger 6.7-inch display. Apple is said to be ditching the notch in favor of a hole punch and a pill-shaped cutout on the Pro models. Regular iPhone models will receive the notch.
Furthermore, the Pro models are expected to include a 48MP main camera sensor, which will be a significant upgrade over the iPhone 13 series’ current 12MP sensor. Other features of the device are unknown. As more information becomes available, it will be released.
