Tecno Pova 5G launched in India with MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC and 6,000mAh battery

On February 8, the Tecno Pova 5G, the company’s first 5G smartphone in India, was released. In the smartphone, the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC is paired with 8GB of RAM. The Tecno Pova5G has a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary camera and a Manchester City FC logo on the back. The smartphone’s 6,000mAh battery, according to the company, can last up to 32 days on standby and 183 hours of music playback.

Tecno Pova 5G price and availability in India

The Tecno Pova 5G will be available in India for Rs. 19,999 in a single 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration. The colour Aether Black will be available on the smartphone. The Tecno Pova5G will be available on Amazon starting February 14th, with the first 1,500 customers receiving a free power bank worth Rs. 1,999.

Specifications for the Tecno Pova 5G

The Tecno Pova 5G is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone with HiOS 8.0 on top of Android 11. The smartphone has a 6.9-inch (1,080×2,460 pixels) full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The Tecno Pova5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC with 8GB of RAM under the hood. According to the company, Memory Fusion technology allows users to increase available RAM up to 11GB by utilizing internal storage.

The Tecno Pova 5G’s camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture lens, as well as an unspecified secondary and tertiary camera and a quad flash. The phone has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens and dual flash, according to the company. The internal storage of the Tecno Pova 5G is 128GB, and it can be expanded via a dedicated MicroSD card slot (up to 512GB).

5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.0, and GPS are all supported by the Tecno Pova 5G. A 6,000mAh battery powers the phone, which can be charged at 18W via USB Type-C. The Tecno Pova 5G is splash resistant to IPX2 and measures 172.82×78.24×9.07mm.
