Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy S22 series at Unpacked 2022. Three premium Samsung smartphones have been released as part of the Galaxy S22 series. In addition to the standard S22, the Samsung Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra are available.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is a replacement for the Note series with a dedicated S Pen slot. On the back, it has a quad-camera setup. The device, along with the vanilla S22 and S22 Plus, is expected to arrive in India soon.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra was released with storage configurations of 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 12GB + 1TB. The $1,199 base model comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (roughly Rs 89,800). The prices for the three remaining storage options will be released soon. Phantom Black, Phantom Green, Phantom White, and Phantom Burgundy are the four colours available for the phone.
The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, respectively. The Galaxy S22 will set you back $799 (roughly Rs 59,600), while the Galaxy S22+ will set you back $999. (roughly Rs 74,800). Phantom Black, Phantom White, Phantom Green, and Pink Gold are the colours available for both devices.
The India variant’s RAM and storage options were leaked just hours before the launch. Samsung is expected to release the devices in India in March.

Specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
With a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with QHD+ resolution, the S22 Ultra is the top-of-the-line model. The display is curved and has a 120Hz refresh rate. The Ultra model also has the brightest display of any phone, with a peak brightness of 1750 nits. A Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ layer protects it from drops and scratches.
A 108MP f/1.8 main camera sensor is part of a quad-camera setup on the back of the flagship smartphone. It has two 10MP camera sensors and a 12MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Up to 3x optical zoom is possible thanks to the f/2.4 aperture on one of the 10MP telephoto camera sensors. The other 10MP sensor has an f/4.9 aperture and a 10X optical zoom capability. A 40MP front camera for selfies and video calls is housed inside the hole-punch camera cutout.
The phone has a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. It’s also available with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC or an Exynos 2200 SoC, depending on the region. In India, Samsung is expected to release the phone with a Snapdragon processor. One UI 4.1, which is based on Android 12, comes pre-installed on the phone. It has IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+
The Samsung Galaxy S22 features a 6.1-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, while the Galaxy S22 Plus features a 6.6-inch display. Both phones have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1300 nits maximum brightness.
The S22 has a 3700 mAh battery with 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging capabilities. The Galaxy S22+, on the other hand, has a 4500 mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging capabilities.
There are three cameras on both phones. There are three cameras: a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera sensor, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and 30x Space Zoom. For selfies, there’s a 10MP front camera. Both devices, like the Ultra, are equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 SoCs. They come with One UI 4.1 pre-installed, which is based on Android 12.
