Redmi K50 gaming smartphone will be officially launched on February 16th

Redmi K50 series is about to be released. The new Redmi flagship smartphones will be unveiled in China on February 16. Xiaomi’s K50 lineup is expected to include several phones, including the Redmi K50 Gaming. The Poco F4 GT is expected to be released in India.

Redmi has begun to tease the upcoming gaming smartphone with new teasers that reveal key specifications. The upcoming Redmi premium smartphone will have a 120W charging capability. It will also feature JBL-tuned speakers.

Specifications for the Redmi K50 Gaming

On February 16, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be available in China. The phone’s key specifications have been confirmed by Xiaomi ahead of its launch. The K50 Gaming will come with a 4700 mAh battery, to begin with. The smartphone will support 120W fast charging right out of the box. The phone will come with an L-shaped charging cable that will allow players to use it while it charges. The device can be fully charged in just 17 minutes, according to Xiaomi.

In addition to the battery and charging tests, Xiaomi has confirmed the audio features of the Redmi K50 Gaming. The device will feature symmetrical stereo speakers. With the help of JBL, it will be fine-tuned. The stereo speaker system on the K50 Gaming will support Dolby Atmos and be certified for Hi-Res audio.

According to the teasers, the phone also has a hole-punch display. In the top-right corner, there is a cutout. A flat-screen with slim bezels is also included. On the back of the phone is a triple-camera setup surrounded by pulsating LED light. The phone is expected to have a 64-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro lens, according to rumors. The phone will have a 16MP front camera sensor for selfies.

A Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor is expected to power the phone. Up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage will be available. MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12, will be used on the Redmi smartphone in China. At the February 16 event, the device’s other features will be revealed. As soon as more information becomes available, it will be released.
