The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G will be available for purchase today (Monday, February 21). A color-shifting back panel is featured on the smartphone, which was released on February 16. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor and up to 8GB of RAM. The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G’s Super AMOLED display has a refresh rate of 90Hz. The smartphone comes with a triple camera setup. The smartphone will compete in the country against the Moto Edge 20, Xiaomi 11i, and Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge.
Realme 9 Pro+ 5G price and launch offers in India
The base Realme 9 Pro+ 5G price in India is Rs 24,999 for 6GB RAM+128GB storage, with an 8GB + 128GB model costing Rs 26,999 and an 8GB + 256GB model costing Rs 28,999. The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G is available in three colours in India: Aurora Green, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Blue.
Starting at 12 p.m. today, the smartphone will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Realme.com, and mainline channels (February 21). Customers will be able to get a flat Rs. 2,000 instant discounts with HDFC Bank cards and on EMI transactions, according to Realme.
Specifications for the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G
Realme launched the dual-SIM (Nano) Realme 9 Pro+ 5G on February 16. It runs Android 12 and has Realme UI 3.0 on top. The smartphone has a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC, which includes a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU and up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G’s camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front of the phone features a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens.
Built-in UFS 2.2 storage on the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G is up to 256GB. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity are all available on the smartphone. The Realme 9 Pro+ has a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. Among the sensors are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
The phone features an in-display fingerprint sensor that also functions as a heart rate sensor, with eight different heart rate scenes to choose from: general, working, exercise, resting, excited, stressed, full of energy, and sleepless. However, users should be aware that the phone’s heart-rate tracking feature is not approved by the FDA. The smartphone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 60W SuperDart fast charging, according to the company. The Realme 9 Pro+ 5G measures 160.2×73.3×7.99mm and weighs 182 grams.
