The Poco M4 Pro 5G was released last week in India, and it went on sale for the first time yesterday. The company has now confirmed the release of a 4G version of the same device. On February 28, the Poco M4 Pro 4G will be released in India, on the same day as the Poco X4 Pro 5G will be released in Europe. The news was confirmed by Poco’s social media accounts.

The 4G variant has been spotted on various certification websites in recent weeks, revealing the device’s main specifications. Poco has not officially confirmed any of the specifications. The Redmi Note 11S, which was released in India, appears to be rebadged as the M4 Pro 4G.
Specifications and features of the Poco M4 Pro 4G
The Poco M4 Pro 4G will most likely have a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate if it is a rebadged version of the Note 11S in India. The M4 Pro will be powered by the Mediatek Helio G96 chipset and will have up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The Redmi Note 11S has a 108-megapixel camera, but it’s unclear whether Poco will offer the M4 Pro 4G in India with the same setup. On the back, the Note 11S has a quad-camera setup and an LED flash. The camera has a 108-megapixel main sensor, as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it has a 16MP front-facing camera.
The phone is expected to have a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It will come pre-installed with Android 11. Poco is expected to pre-install MIUI 13 for Poco on the phone.
Other features include a fingerprint scanner on the side, stereo speakers, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, a Type-C charging port, and a 3.5mm audio jack with Hi-Res audio.
