Oppo is preparing to launch the Oppo Pad, its first tablet in China. The tablet had previously been discovered on some certification websites, with the majority of its specifications revealed. The most recent development is the appearance on the internet of live and promotional images of the Oppo Pad, confirming the device’s launch date and specifications.
The official teaser images (via Twitter) confirm that the Oppo Pad will be released in China on February 24, along with the Oppo Find X5 series. The Oppo Pencil is a stylus pen that will work with the Oppo Pad. On the device, ColorOS for Pad will be installed.

The Oppo Pad will be launched in China on February 24, and India is expected to get it in early 2022. According to the leaked images, it will be available in two colours: pink and blue. The tablet will feature a stylized Oppo logo on the left side of the back, similar to the Honor 50, and simple branding in the center. The tablet is expected to have a single 13MP rear camera with an LED flash. For selfies and video calls, it will have an 8MP front camera sensor.
Furthermore, the Oppo Pad will be powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset with an Adreno 650 GPU, according to the marketing images. It will have a large 8,360mAh battery and support for 33W fast charging. The tablet will have a storage capacity of 256GB and a RAM of 6/8GB. It will run on a modified version of ColorOS, an Android-based operating system.

The Oppo Pad will feature a 10.9-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Oppo Pencil will be compatible with it. Other features include quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, WiFi 6, a 10-bit display, and more. On the day of its launch, the full detailed specifications of the upcoming tablet will be revealed. According to previous reports, the Oppo Pad will cost around CNY 2,000 (roughly Rs 23,300).
