Oppo Find X5, Find X5 Pro with Hasselblad camera, 5000mAh Battery Announced

The global launch of Oppo’s new flagship smartphone series has been announced. Oppo has released two new flagship smartphones, the Find X5 and Find X5 Pro. The Find X5 Pro is the more expensive of the two models, as its name suggests. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

Oppo’s new flagship Android smartphones have a triple-camera setup on the back. The phones have an LTPO display, with LTPO 2.0 technology on the Pro model.

Price of the Oppo Find X5 series

Oppo has released the Find X5 series for global markets. Oppo’s flagship smartphone series is expected to debut in India later this year. The company has yet to confirm the official launch date.

For the global market, Oppo has released the Find X5 Pro in Glaze Black and Ceramic White. The phone has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is priced at EUR 1,299 (roughly $1,300). (approximately Rs 1,10,000).

The vanilla Find X5’s only 8GB + 256GB storage option costs EUR 999. (roughly Rs 84,500). Ceramic White and Glaze Black are also options for the device.

Features and specifications

For example, the Find X5 Pro has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED curved display with QHD+ resolution. The display is LTPO 2.0 and has a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 1300 nits maximum brightness. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone has a 5000 mAh battery that can be charged at 80 watts via SuperVOOC and 50 watts via AirVOOC wireless charging.

The main camera sensor on the back of the phone is a 50MP Sony IMX766 with an f/1.7 aperture. It features a five-axis OIS system similar to that found on SLR cameras. There’s also a second Sony IMX766 ultrawide camera with a 110-degree field of view. Finally, the phone has a 13-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom. The company has teamed up with Hasselblad for the Find X5 series. A MariSilicon NPU is also included in the device, which improves low-light camera performance. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front camera. Finally, the phone has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The Find X5, a standard smartphone with a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, was also released by Oppo. A 120Hz refresh rate is supported. The phone comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 888 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.

The device’s sensor configuration is identical: 50MP + 50MP + 13MP. The vanilla model, on the other hand, is missing SLR-level 5-axis OIS stabilization and has different sensors. Instead, it gets regular OIS. The camera on the phone is a Sony IMX615 sensor with a 32MP resolution and an IP54 water resistance rating.

The device has a 4800 mAh battery and supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging and 30W AirVOOC wireless charging. Both phones come with ColorOS 12.1 pre-installed, which is based on Android 12.
