OnePlus Nord CE 2 confirmed to Launch With MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, the company announced on Friday. According to the company, the smartphone will be launched in India on February 17th. The design and colour of the OnePlus Nord CE 25G have reportedly been spotted on the company’s website ahead of its launch, revealing the upcoming smartphone’s design and colour. Additional information about the OnePlus Nord CE 25G, which is the successor to the OnePlus Nord CE 5G that was released last year, is still unknown.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity SoC, OnePlus announced on Twitter on Friday. The news confirms previous rumors that the smartphone would use the same SoC. A 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC are expected to be included in the OnePlus Nord CE 25G.

Meanwhile, tipster Ishan Agarwal shared an alleged image of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G on Twitter ahead of its launch. According to Agarwal, the smartphone was discovered on the company’s website. The OnePlus Nord CE 25G is expected to be available in two colours: Bahamas Blue and Grey Mirror, and the image shared by the tipster could be the former.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will have a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, according to a recent report on the phone’s specifications. The smartphone will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, according to the company. The RAM and storage options that will be available on the OnePlus Nord CE 25G when it launches have yet to be revealed by OnePlus.

A 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 119-degree field of view, and an unspecified 2-megapixel tertiary sensor are expected to be included in the OnePlus Nord CE2 5G. The smartphone is also said to have a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is expected to have a 4,500mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC charging and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card slot (up to 1TB).
