Nubia Z40 Pro Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 144Hz Display Launched

Nubia recently released the Red Magic 7 series. The company has released two new gaming smartphones, the Red Magic 7 and Magic 7 Pro. Both devices will have top-of-the-line specifications in 2022, comparable to those found on an Android flagship. The Nubia Z40 Pro is the company’s most recent premium offering, arriving just days after the company’s gaming smartphones were released.

The Z40 Pro has a triple-camera setup on the back. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC powers it.

Price of Nubia Z40 Pro

Nubia has released the Z40 Pro in China, which comes with a variety of storage options. The entry-level 8GB RAM model costs CNY 3,399 and includes 128GB of internal storage. It’s also available in an 8GB + 256GB storage configuration for CNY 3699. (approximately Rs 44,100) The company also offers two 12GB RAM models with 256GB and 512GB storage capacities. They cost CNY 3999 (roughly Rs 47,700) and CNY 4499, respectively (roughly Rs 53,700). (roughly Rs 53,700).

For CNY 4299 (roughly Rs 51,300) and CNY 5,999, respectively, magnetic charging editions with 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 1TB storage are available (roughly Rs 71,600).

Specifications and features

A 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display is featured on the Z40 Pro. The 10-bit screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate and has a Full HD+ resolution. In the top center, there is a hole punch cutout for the front camera. The phone’s front-facing camera is 16 megapixels. A rectangular camera block sits next to the Nubia branding on the back of the phone.

The device’s triple camera setup uses a 64MP Sony IMX787 sensor. It includes OIS support. There’s also a 50MP ultrawide camera with a 116-degree field of view. Finally, the phone comes with an 8MP telephoto camera with a 9x zoom.

There’s a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood. Depending on which variant you choose, the phone has up to 16GB of RAM. Internal storage capacity is up to 1TB. The phone has a 5000 mAh battery that supports both wired and wireless charging at 80W and 15W, respectively. In addition, the Z40 Pro is the world’s first Android smartphone to support magnetic charging. The phone comes pre-installed with MyOS 12, which is based on Android 12. Dual speakers, an X-axis vibration motor, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and other features are included.
