While Motorola has yet to reveal the name of the next handset in the Edge30 series to be released in India, rumors suggest it will be called the Motorola Edge 30Pro and will be a rebranded version of the Moto EdgeX30 that was released in China last year. According to information shared on Twitter by tipster Yogesh Brar, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro will be available in a single configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s no word on whether the phone’s storage can be expanded. In India, he claims the phone will cost between Rs. 45,000 and Rs. 50,000. This comes just one day after a report revealed the Motorola smartphone’s rumored box price of Rs. 55,999. According to Brar, the phone is also available in Cosmic Blue.

Specifications for the Motorola Edge 30 Pro in India (rumored)

In India, the Motorola Edge 30Pro is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The handset’s Indian variant, according to Brar, will support 13 5G bands.

The phone is also said to run Android 12 out of the box with MyUI on top, with Motorola expected to release Android 13 and Android 14 OS updates.

Because the Motorola Edge 30 Pro is believed to be a rebranded Motorola Edge X30, which was released in China in December, it could have similar specifications, such as a 6.8-inch full-HD+ POLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone could feature a triple rear camera system with two 50-megapixel sensors and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The handset could include a 60-megapixel selfie camera. A 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging capability is expected.
