Apple’s iPhone 13 series has been out for more than six months, and there have been rumors that the company’s next iPhone SE model is on the way. The iPhone SE 2022, or the new version of the iPhone SE, will be released on or around March 8 this year, according to Bloomberg. Mark Gurman, who has a track record of being spot-on with his predictions about Apple’s plans, is the source of the report. According to previous reports, Apple will also release a new iPad alongside the new iPhone SE.
Specifications for the Apple iPhone SE 5G 2022
For the past few years, Apple has released new products in April and March. Apple released the 2020 edition of the iPhone SE on April 24 of that year. It’s also worth noting that Apple’s plans are currently subject to change, according to Bloomberg’s sources, due to potential production issues. The company warned last month that the global chip shortage would affect iPhone and iPad production for at least a few months.
The iPhone SE is commonly regarded as a device for those looking for a smaller, less expensive iPhone. Last year’s iPhone SE had the same design as the iPhone 8, and Apple may do so again this year. Apple will undoubtedly use a faster processor this year, and 5G connectivity is expected to debut.
Apple is working on a refreshed iPad Air
According to Bloomberg, Apple may use the launch event to introduce a new iPad Air model. Although Apple didn’t provide many details, the refreshed iPad Air is expected to support 5G connectivity and have a faster chipset. Apple hasn’t yet included its new M1 chip in the iPad Air, but it may soon. However, doing so would almost completely blur the line between the iPad Air and the iPad Pro, potentially jeopardizing iPad Pro sales.
