Infinix Zero 5G, powered by the Dimensity 900 SoC launched in India, Under 20,000 Rupees

Infinix has unveiled the Infinix Zero 5G phone, the company’s first-ever 5G smartphone in India. After a series of teasers on social media and on Flipkart, an e-commerce website, the device was launched globally last week and has now arrived in India.

The Infinix comes in a single RAM and storage configuration, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will cost Rs 19,999 and come in two colour options: Cosmic Black and Skylight Orange. On February 18, Flipkart will begin selling the device.

Specifications for the Infinix Zero 5G

The Infinix Zero 5G, as previously stated, is the company’s first 5G phone, and it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core processor with a 6nm fabrication process. The SoC features two Cortex-A78 performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores clocked at 2GHz. The system comes with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Virtual RAM expansion, dubbed MemFusion by the company, is also supported on the phone.

The display on the Zero 5G is a large 6.78-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with a resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits brightness. The phone has a single-curve design and a rear camera module that looks similar to Oppo’s recent Find X series phones. There will be two colour schemes to choose from. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device, which supports 33W fast charging.

The Infinix Zero 5G features a 48-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x zoom and 30x digital zoom, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, as well as a quad-LED flash. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera with dual-LED flash. The camera also supports 960fps slow-mo, night selfie, and other features. The phone comes with Android 11 OS preinstalled, which is based on XOS 10. On the side, there’s also a fingerprint scanner.

The phone is 198 grams and measures 168.73 x 76.53 x 8.77 mm. Other features include Wi-Fi 6, Dual 5G SIM, heat pipe thermal module 2.0, 3D cooling master, MicroSD card slot, Arm Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, Type-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
