Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022, MateBook E laptop Has Been Unveiled At MWC 2022

MWC 2022: Huawei has proven to be a resilient company, battling to keep its business afloat despite numerous setbacks in its core businesses. Huawei unveiled its Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 flagship laptop and Huawei MateBook E 2-in-1 laptop at MWC 2022. The MateBook X Pro 2022 is said to be the first laptop in the world to be certified by TÜV Rheinland for Pro-level Color Accuracy with Dual Color Gamuts. The MateBook E 2-in-1 is aimed at content creators and features a 360-degree integrated floating design.

The Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 costs 1,899 euros (approximately Rs 1,60,000).

The 11th Gen Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant of the Huawei MateBook E2-in-1 starts at Euro 649 (roughly Rs 54,600). The 11th Gen Intel Core i5, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, costs Euro 999. (approximately Rs 84,000). The Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM/512GB storage configuration costs Euro 1,399 in Europe (approximately Rs 1,18,000).

The MateBook E will be sold in a bundle with a Smart Magnetic Keyboard for Euro 1,199. (approximately Rs 1,01,000)

The Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 has a 14.2-inch LTPS display with a resolution of 3120×2080 pixels, a 92.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The display has a Smart Brightness feature that automatically controls the display’s peak brightness of 500 nits. It is powered by an Intel Core i7-1195G7 processor with Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics from the 11th generation. 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 1TB of NVMe PCIe SSD storage are included in the device.

The laptop has a Shark Fin Fan Cooling System with slim VC heat dissipation modules, triple air intake, and a smart temperature control system for cooling.

According to the company, the trackpad has 100 percent detection coverage. A full-size keyboard with 1.5mm key travel is included with the laptop. It has six speakers in a split-frequency configuration, as well as Huawei Sound technology. It has four microphones and a high-definition webcam.

The laptop is equipped with a “high-capacity battery” and 90W fast charging technology. According to the manufacturer, the device can last up to 3 hours on a single charge and only takes 15 minutes to charge. A fingerprint sensor and face recognition are also included. Microsoft’s Windows 11 operating system is installed on the laptop.

A 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, and four USB Type-C ports round out the connectivity options.

The Huawei MateBook E has a 12.6-inch OLED display with a peak brightness of 600 nits, a resolution of 2,560 1,600 pixels, and 10-point touch support. It is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Iris X3 graphics up to the 11th generation. Up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB of NVMe PCIe SSD storage are available on the laptop.

It supports Huawei M-Pencil (2nd generation), which has 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and a battery life of up to 10 hours. The Huawei Smart Magnetic keyboard is also supported.

The device can be charged 54 percent in 30 minutes and fully charged in 90 minutes, according to the company, using the included 65W charger. It has a rear camera of 13 megapixels and a front camera of 8 megapixels. The device has a fingerprint sensor for biometric security.

Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, a USB Type-C port, a Thunderbolt 4 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity options. Microsoft’s Windows 11 operating system is installed on the laptop.
