Black Shark 4 Pro Gaming Smartphone Powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC Launched Globally

In March 2021, Black Shark released the Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro handsets in China. The Black Shark 4 made its global debut a few months after its launch in China. Almost a year after its initial release, the Pro variant is finally making its way to global markets.

Price of the Black Shark 4 Pro

The phone comes in two different capacities: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The entry-level model of the device costs $580/€580. The smartphone costs $680/€680 and has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The official Black Shark website is where you can get it.

Specifications and features of the Black Shark 4 Pro

A 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio is featured on the phone. It has a 144Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1300nits, and HDR 10+ certification. The display panel also houses the optical in-display fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, there’s an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with a 5nm fabrication process. The system on a chip includes an Adreno 660 GPU, X60 5G modem, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is powered by Android 11 with a JoyUI 12.5 skin on top.

The phone comes with a triple-camera setup on the back, as well as an LED flash. The primary sensor on the device is a 64MP sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. The camera comes with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120° field of view and an f/2.4 aperture. A 5MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture is also included on the 4 Pr. For selfies and video calls, it has a 20MP front camera.

The smartphone has a 4,500mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging. The phone comes with a Type-C charging port, dedicated gaming triggers, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual speakers. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and GPS. It measures 163.83 x 76.35 x 9.9mm and weighs 220 grams.
