The Xiaomi 12 flagship smartphone has been discovered by Geekbench ahead of its global launch. Xiaomi’s latest flagship series was unveiled in China last month to much fanfare. The phone, which comes in three versions: Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12x, and Xiaomi 12 Pro, is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. According to the latest report, Xiaomi’s 12 series is set to launch globally in late February. In late March or early April, the Chinese company will launch its latest smartphones in India.

According to Geekbench, the Xiaomi 12 global variant could have the model number 2201123G. Similar to the China models, the listing shows an 8GB RAM variant with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It runs Android 12 with MIUI on top, just like the Chinese models. In China, Xiaomi also sells a Xiaomi 12 with 12GB RAM, but we’re not sure if it’ll be available elsewhere. We’d have to wait a few more weeks to find out for sure.
The global variant of Xiaomi 12 achieved a single-core score of 711 and a multi-core score of 2834 while running Geekbench 5.4.4. A 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection is included with the Xiaomi 12. The triple rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera and a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging are also included.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro, on the other hand, features a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, three 50-megapixel cameras on the back, and 120W fast charging support. Xiaomi is also rumored to be working on a 12 series Ultra with a better quad-rear camera setup, a larger primary sensor, and a high optical zoom lens.
