Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone series, which will be released later this year, have begun. According to Samsung, the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra will be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event next month. Pre-orders for Samsung’s next flagship smartphone and the upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 are now available in the United States, even before the company announces its specifications and features.
Customers were previously able to pre-order the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Note 20 smartphones, and according to the company’s website, customers will not be required to pay the full price of the upcoming Galaxy S22 smartphone upfront. According to Samsung’s website, users who pre-order the smartphone will receive a $50 (roughly Rs. 7,000) credit that can be used to purchase other products on the company’s website. The next Galaxy Unpacked event has yet to be officially announced by Samsung, but reports suggest it will take place on February 8.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 processor is expected to power the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, depending on the region. The phones are expected to have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, rumored to have a built-in S Pen. Samsung President and Head of MX Business TM Roh hinted at the smartphones’ release recently, saying it would be the company’s most “notable” Galaxy S-series offering to date.
