Samsung Galaxy S22 Series will be launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event on February 8th

Every Samsung fan has been waiting for the company’s next flagship phone, and the Galaxy S21 FE, which appears to be the last of the S21 series, was just announced at CES 2022, as expected. Samsung is rumored to be planning to unveil the Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra smartphones at the Galaxy Unpacked event next month. The unveiling of the Galaxy S22 has been confirmed, though we don’t know which products will be shown.

What is the launch date for the Galaxy S22 Series?

The event will take place on February 8, according to a report from DDaily, a South Korean publication, and pre-registration for the purchase of Galaxy S22 devices will begin the following day. Customers can pre-register for the phone beginning February 9, but it will not be available for purchase until February 24.

A Samsung official told the publication that the event will take place on February 8 and that they are currently discussing the time of the invitation, which will be sent in late January. The announcement comes as many people anticipate the MWC 2022 in Barcelona, where a slew of other exciting products, including smartphones and telecom technology, will be unveiled and demonstrated.

As evidenced by leaked renders of the phones’ designs, Samsung has retired the Note series for good, and the upcoming lineup will carry on the legacy of the mighty S-Pen. Larger displays and boxy designs, on the other hand, appear to be following in the footsteps of the Note Series. With the S-Pen, the Galaxy S22 lineup may be able to fill some of the void left by the Note Series’ absence.

Rumored Specs of Galaxy S22

The specifications for the Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra have recently leaked, and some of the highlights include a 108-megapixel primary camera, a telephoto lens with 3x and 10x zoom, and optical image stabilization (OIS). These handsets are also said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Samsung’s own Exynos 2200 processor. Customers in India may be able to get their hands on these flagship phones with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs rather than Exynos chipsets after a long wait.
