Redmi Note 11S with a 5,000mAh battery will be launched on February 9th in India

The Redmi Note 11S launch date in India has been confirmed by Xiaomi. The Redmi Note 11 series smartphone will be released in India on February 9. Xiaomi announced the launch date of the new Redmi smartphone in India on its social media accounts. The Redmi Note 11 budget smartphone will be the second in the Redmi Note 11 series to be released in India.

The Redmi Note 11S will join the Note 11T 5G as the company’s latest budget smartphone. The design of the Note 11S is also confirmed by the teaser post.

Launch of the Redmi Note 11S in India

On February 9th, the Redmi Note 11S will be launched in India. Redmi India has also teased the device’s design, which shows a Blue colour option and a flat frame. The device has a quad-camera setup on the back. The LED flash is also part of the camera module.

According to rumors, the Note 11S will have a 108MP main camera. The ISOCELL HM2 sensor used in the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max may be the same. The device will also feature a Sony IMX355 ultrawide sensor, a 2MP OmniVision OV2A macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

While the teaser post does not reveal the Redmi Note 11S’ display, recently leaked design renders show a hole-punch cutout in the top center. The phone is said to have a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. For biometric authentication, it will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi Note series phone will be powered by a MediaTek processor. This could be the Helio G96 chipset, according to a Moneycontrol report. The phone is also said to come with Android 11 preinstalled and MIUI 12.5 on top of it.

One of the Note 11S’s other features is a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. In addition, up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage are expected on the device.
