OnePlus Nord 2T is expected to come with a Dimensity 1300 processor

The OnePlus Nord 2 was released a few months ago, and it featured the Dimensity 1200 SoC. Now, a new leak from Digit.in suggests that the OnePlus Nord 2T, which will be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Mediatek Dimensity 1300 SoC, will be released soon.

Steve H.McFly, also known as OnLeaks, is the source of this leak. According to the leak, the OnePlus Nord 2T will have a new processor, as well as a few other changes such as faster wired charging speeds, and will be the company’s second smartphone to support a whopping 80W fast charging via the USB Type-C port.

Specifications for the OnePlus Nord 2T

The OnePlus Nord 2T is expected to have the same 6.43-inch AMOLED display as the OnePlus Nord 2, with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate as the OnePlus Nord 2. A punch-hole cutout in the display is said to house the selfie camera. As previously stated, the OnePlus Nord 2T will be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 1300 SoC, which is most likely an overclocked Dimensity 1200.

The device is expected to have 6/8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. The device is also expected to have dual SIM card slots, with each supporting 4G LTE and 5G networks. Like most OnePlus smartphones, the OnePlus Nord 2T may not have a microSD card slot.

The cameras on the OnePlus Nord 2T are expected to remain unchanged, with a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro or depth sensor. The front of the device will have a 32MP selfie camera with support for FHD video recording.

Last but not least, the OnePlus Nord 2T is expected to come with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, as well as a charger that will most likely be included in the retail box. In terms of software, the phone is expected to come with Android 12 OS on top of a custom OxygenOS skin.

The OnePlus Nord 2T could replace the OnePlus Nord 2, with a base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costing less than Rs. 30,000 and a high-end model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costing around Rs. 35,000.
